Offering a terrace and views of the garden, La Maïoun Guesthouse is situated in Nice in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur Region, 500 metres from the beach. I haven't stayed in many hostels, but this one is the best so far.

Au Petit chez Soi is situated on the beachfront in Cassis, 400 metres from Grande Mer and 700 metres from Bestouan. Boasting a shared kitchen, this property also provides guests with a terrace. Anne-Marie was a friendly, helpful, welcoming host with lots of information about Calanques National Park and all the beaches in the area. She is a native French speaker but can communicate in English. I couldn’t ask for more from a hostel! The outdoor area is absolutely beautiful and charming, with lots of plants, and places to hang wet clothes. The location is a five minute walk from the center, and the port, and there are restaurants even closer. There is a stove, microwave, fridge, freezer, two communal bathrooms and showers. The property is very quaint but there is lots of space, with only six people per room (there are two rooms total) However, other amenities aren’t plentiful. -no laundry machines, but there is a laundromat right down the street with washers and dryers for roughly €10 - very minimal free breakfast -like many hostels in Europe, you pay a few euros for city tax in cash at the end of your stay -not a party hostel at all but everyone was friendly and had great vibes (which I prefer)

Located in La Javie, 23 km from Digne Golf Course, Ecolodge La Pastoulière provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace.

Set in Robion en Luberon and with Parc des Expositions Avignon reachable within 22 km, Gîte de l'Escanson un temps pour soi offers concierge services, non-smoking rooms, a terrace, free WiFi... Beautiful and comfortable location in a small village, where it is possible to relax! Good place to stop during the eurovelo. Bicycle are welcome!

Located in Molines-en-Queyras, within 44 km of La Forêt Blanche and 47 km of Serre Chevalier, Chalet le Genepy with amazing views! I much enjoyed the friendly staff and the incredible setting high in the mountains. I also enjoyed the food and the restored, very old farmhouse. I think I will keep coming back here, it really ticks off all my boxes as athlete and nature lover.

Located in Castellane, 28 km from Château de Taulane Golf Course, Gite de la Baume, Aux Délices du Verdon has a number of amenities including a garden, a shared lounge, a terrace and free WiFi.

Attractively set in Marseille, The People - Marseille features air-conditioned rooms, a shared lounge, free WiFi and a terrace. Very kind staff! They make you feel at home. They invited us at the pub crawl right at the check-in! Rooms ares immaculate, good lighting, freshly renovate bathroom and nice design! Felt very safe staying there

Hostel Vertigo Vieux Port is located 5 minutes from the old port. Its central location means you can enjoy all that this beautiful city has to offer. Cosy old houses, modern hostel, good atmosphere.

Hotel Ozz by Happyculture (ex Normandie) is a hotel located in the city center of Nice, a 2-minute walk from Nice-Ville Train Station and a 15-minute walk from the beach. The whole atmosphere of the place, very international and friendly and full of fun.

Conveniently set in Nice, SLO Hostel Nice provides air-conditioned rooms, a bar and free WiFi. Great stay, perfect location, friendly & helpful staff, such a good design and comfortable rooms :)
