The owners of this establishment are truly outstanding and go to great lengths to make their guests welcome and comfortable. The catering is absolutely fabulous, freshly made and delicious and there’s plenty to go around. The owners even sit with you at dinner and engage in great conversation.

The most comfortable gite, run by the kindest, loveliest couple. Michelle and Sandrine have gone to so much effort to make pilgrims feel at home in their home, so many special extra touches. You can tell they do it because they genuinely care, not just for a business. Bedroom and bathroom were a high standard and the meal was delicious. I can’t recommend this gite enough and I would love to go back one day.

Situated in Aragnouet, 44 km from Col d'Aspin, Auberge de Piau features accommodation with a shared lounge, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. I had a really great time in Auberge Piau, the overall concept of the hotel is great, everything is easy going and the staff is always super friendly and they speak perfect English. The little room offered everything I needed and was very cozy with a great view. Everything was clean and the rooftop is great to hang out. I also enjoyed the breakfast, it’s simple but a good deal given the price. The location is perfect for some very beautiful hikes, so I highly recommend to stay here as well in summer:)
