The hostel l'Escale offers accommodation in Dunkerque, a 10 minute walk from the beach. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. Free WiFi is available and free private parking is available on-site. We thought it was a cheap hotel but turns out it was a youth hostel. The staff were brilliant and because we were traveling as a family, we all had a great time because everyone was catered for. Loved the location... 5 minutes to the sea. Loved the freedom the older children could have.
