This urban gites is a hidden gem in an upcoming, a slight rough-around-the-edges neighborhood of Clermont-Ferrand. No worries, we always felt safe, even with our four-year-old toddler.
We didn't know much about the city, but it soon became our favorite city in France. It has all the French charms, but also feels very open-minded, diverse and inclusive. We had an amazing pizza around the corner, with the friendliest waiter.
Casa Champgil is very cool, with a nice patio, super fresh local breakfast and the best host ever. Anthony's love and dedication for the place is heartwarming, and we will definitely be back. Thanks, man!

Hotel was perfectly situated for a medical appointment in the hospital across the road. It's a recent build, and very clean and modern. Comfortable, friendly, calm, parking is easy and cheap and breakfast is fine. Bedding is new and perfectly clean (I inspected it). All good. Also there are two food places next door: a boulangerie and a salad/pasta bar with lots of options. Both reasonably priced. Far better than I expected from a budget hotel.
The owners are very good , we were vegetarians (no egg no fish no meat) still the owner made pan cakes for us & our childrens & other things too , Other hotels were charging me much more here was much cheaper also parking is free The place in night becomes little quite & it away from city centre but its 100% safe & easy to locate
The place is nicely located for railway backpackers. It was clean and quiet. (The street in front of the window was closed for construction, not sure how much traffic there is when it's open.) Padlocks are available for a deposit, towels for rent. At your bed you have a little shelf and electric outlets. The toilet and shower were clean. The hostel has a nice terrace to watch the trains.
We have stayed here before on our way back from southern Spain , it is great value for money , always clean ,great location as near the autoroute , restaurants nearby ,safe parking , nice continental breakfast and the people are friendly
Best of the cheap budget hotels. But at 87 euros it was a little overpriced
I like the design, the hostel is not expensive but still manages to look good and you don't feel like you're in a cheap youth hostel:)
Really lovely budget hotel. Very clean, great location, great parking and really spacious comfortable rooms - very comfortable beds. Good air conditioning, nice bathroom and nicely decorated. Staff were absolutely lovely and really helpful with recommendations.
Nice quiet , clean apparment. Everything you need for a couple of days. Friendly staff. Free tram service on a weekend. Secure parking and a safe cheap parking location near the tram stop.
