Good for overnight emergency/travel stays when you need to be downtown. staff are friendly. entrance is more scary than the hotel actually is-I only found out about it through a local I met otherwise I would’ve never tried. make sure to go to 7th floor when you reach the building bc that’s not obvious. At the low price don’t expect 4-5 star service…it’s a fresh bed and a toilet and smoker-friendly and not a hostel that you have to share.

The hotel was clean and the staff are extremely friendly - they were very flexible about check out, which we appreciated. There was hot water and decent pressure most of the time. For an Alexandria hotel, it is very good value for money. We would stay here again.

If you like friendly old fashioned atmospheres this is the place to be. The building is beautiful, the team helpful and careful, the position is perfect: very central and close to nice cafés. The room was big, with a refrigerator and a great ventilator (you don’t really need a/c, unless you are a real fan of it). I would definitely be back! As a woman traveling alone I felt very safe!
