Situated within 43 km of Pärnu Museum and 43 km of Parnu Tallinn Gate, Livonia Matkamaja provides rooms in Kilingi-Nõmme. You get excellent value for money if you are unassuming traveller. I needed a place to stay for a night, because going back to the capital city and returning the next day was not an option. By the way I had a business to attend on a Latvian side, but was very happy to find this place on Estonian side. It is really a simple dwelling with a focus on the rest, cleanliness. But I even think of coming back some day in order to explore the surroundings.

Not sure, when it got renovated, but the number looked very clean and new. I was very impressed by it! I checked in on my way from Riga to Tallinn during the day and came back from Tallinn at 2 am. I was afraid I won't be able to get in, but the keycard opens all the doors and there was no issue getting in. A breakfast was very simple, where you can have cereal, omelette, coffee/tea and everything to make your own sandwich. Not a huge choice but enough to make you full.

The bus from Tallinn dropped off outside the hotel, making it very convenient for arrival. I enjoyed the kitchen and outdoor deck.

Hostel Lõuna is attractively set in Pärnu, and has a shared lounge, free WiFi and a terrace. Boasting a shared kitchen, this property also provides guests with a children's playground. The manager was extremely helpful. The room was neat and tidy.

As soon as I arrived I had the feeling I arrived at the home of friends/family. Because the host saw all my clothes were wet he suggested me to put them on a drying rack.
