Imaginary Hostel boasting a large shared lounge and study area. The hostel is close to several noted attractions, around 1 km from Passenger Terminals A & B and around 0.8 km from Maiden Tower. Free WiFi and a shared kitchen are featured. It all started with the brightest of smiles and a warm welcome at reception, followed by a much appreciated offer to get comfortable and make full use of hostel facilities despite showing up way earlier than check-in time. (or actually even earlier, with great communication before my stay, exhaustive and timely responses to any query) Come check-in time, I was assigned a comfy bed reserved for me according to my preferences in a luminous, ingeniously designed, spacious dorm with just the right mix of privacy and chances to meet and exchange with fellow guests. Hostel facilities are noteworthy, featuring a big, well stocked kitchen, a quiet co-working room to get your stuff done, ample common areas to relax and mingle with fellow guests, a battery of toilets and showers on the upper floor ensuring that no one has to wait in a line come nature's call - all of which kept tidy and spotless at all times by an impressive team of hard-working volunteers running the place in a very professional way and always ready to inform and assist with the friendliest of attitudes. Very friendly and pleasant was also the general ambience and vibes among guests of all ages and origins sharing the space. All of which almost makes you forget the location: right in the heart of Tallinn's stunning old town and a short stroll away from all of the main attractions. The bus and train station, and the ferry terminal, are also conveniently at walking distance. I had a blast, wished I could stay longer and would highly recommend fellow travelers to base themselves here for their Tallinn adventure. Most grateful to the folks who made me love this place, and my brief stay, so much.

MJK Hostel offers accommodation in Nõmme, within a 30-minute walk of Lake Ülemiste and a 15-minute drive of Tallinn's Old Town. Free WiFi is featured and free private parking is available on site. Värava and Näituse bus stops are both within a 5-minute walk of the property. Very good value for the money. Clean room. Comfortable bed, private toilet, shower, TV. About 5 to 6 euros Bolt ride to the centre of the city. Very good for overnight stay, but why not longer.

Tallinn’s busy port is just a 5-minute walk from the hostel. The famous Fat Margaret’s Tower is within 100 metres. The Balti Jaam Railway Station is a 4-minute walk away. For the price the accommodation was unbelievably good! They offer Waffle dough for you to make in the morning (for the early birds) and also sauna with a colder dipping pool is available 9-11. I stayed in a 6ppl shared room and there were only 3 of us. That's more about the time of year you arrive but still! The shared kitchen and common area is very big and everything you'd need to cook something in is available free of charge. The bed sheets and a towel are rdy in your locker. You can keep your bag here before/after you check out!
