I am the owner of a small boutique hotel and many airbnbs. I am planning to also enter the segment of hostels and opn one in my hometown. In the last month I’ve been travelling in 10 european cities and been staying in hostels to explore and gain know-how. This is the only one that I am leaving a review. Because it was the best. It feels like I could have stayed only here and it would have been enough for my reserach. Great hostel. Great concept. The biggest i have seen and the smartest and the most well organized of them all. Great job! Wow. Special thanks to Philippa and also the guy serving on the desk on the night of 5th of December. Great communaction skills and very efficient.

Situated in the trendy Nørrebro district in Copenhagen, Urban Camper Hostel & Bar offers a new kind of hostel accommodation with 4-person dorms in the form of large, indoor tents. Great location and felt very safe. We didn't explore too much but it looked like there were plenty of takeaways around that the staff encouraged us to buy from and bring back. The building was only a few minutes walk from a Metro and S-Train station. The hostel is around 15 minutes from the central station by metro and 40 minutes from the airport. There were activities for the guests, a movie night when we were there (complete with popcorn)! The bar area had a really nice atmosphere and staff were very welcoming. There looked to be laundry machines available for use for a small fee. There's plenty of guidance on good things to do (and maybe skip) in the area and there is bike rental available. Beds were comfy with USB ports. Each room/tent had well sized lockers big enough for two large backpacks. Padlocks are available to buy at reception. My friend moaned in his sleep but hey they can't do anything about that! No issues with noise other than that. Bathrooms were clean and felt up-market. Breakfast was really cheap and the food was nice, with warm buns and continental meats and unlimited coffee. I've not stayed in many hostels because I was a bit anxious about them but I really liked this one and can highly recommend it!
