The relatively small room we stayed in was a good fit for two nights. We travelled in winter and we were pleased that it was warm and cozy. The host was very helpful, kind, and prepared to explain everything in detail. There was only one shower available because the other bathrooms were under construction but this one was spacious, clean and luckily, free whenever we needed it. The location is super close to the forest and only a 10-15 min walk from the next tram stop, so arriving without a car is no problem. We would definitely stay there again! L'StayInn Hostel und Gästehaus està situat a Freiburg im Breisgau. L'hostal ofereix una terrassa i WiFi gratuïta. Les habitacions de l'hostal inclouen nevera i bany privat. We were pleasantly surprised at the good quality of the mattresses and the soundproofing; the coffee machine in the kitchen also proved to be a lifesaver. Lighting was soft and not headache-inducing. The decoration on the wall was charming. The staff were polite, and very tolerant of the slight mess we made of the bin (we had bought too many snacks to cram into our carry-on luggage). The location was excellent - exceptionally convenient for the town, the city centre, and also the nice Bäckereien of Haslach. Together with the value for money, this was the main selling point for us, so it was great that the hostel itself was also so lovely. Definitely our go-to base for future visits!

Quietly located in Waldbronn, just 350 meters from the spa gardens. this family-run hotel features a restaurant, a garden and on-site bicycle rentals. Very good balance between price and what you get. Very friendly and helpful staff.
