The owner recommended a local Mexican restaurant not far away, the restaurant was also very nice. Very helpful people and a kitchen with good free coffee/tea. The showers are clean and have nice warm water. Best place in town to stay!

Set in Hacienda Santa María, 23.7 km from Miravalles Volcano, Santa Maria Hotel & Restaurant offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar. My gf forgot her airpods in the hotel room, but the hotel arranged for them to be brought to us in Liberia which saved us from a really long drive. They truly went above and beyond.

Had an excellent stay at Pipehouse over Christmas with the family. Felipe welcomed us with open arms to his beautiful hostel with a lush garden, a big lounge area and hammocks. We even got to see monkeys jumping from branch to branch in the big tree overlooking the lounge. The hostel is located right by the sea and access to the beach couldn't be better. Additionally, we all found the hostel clean, well maintained and with a very friendly staff. The included breakfast was also much appreciated. Highly recommend for both singles, couples and families.

Great location, kind owners who were very helpful explainng the area.the gardens were perfect, comunal kitchen areas very clean and well equipped.the temts were simple and clean and THE BEST bed i ever slept in "camping".

It was super conformable, clean, had netflix access and a lot of space for the luggage. Host was very friendly and gave good advice on what to do in town or how to get to other places.

WOW, this place was amazing. I've never stayed in a shared room at a hostel before, so I was a bit on the edge about it, but everything went great! Matthias and Maria was incredibly welcoming and friendly. The house is great, very good location, is has everything that you need. Matthias is a great surf teacher as well, I've taken on a new hobby thanks to him.

Great vibe. The people who run the hostel are super sweet. The people who stay here are very friendly and social. It was easy to make friends here. Also, the bed was comfy and I was able to sleep really well with just the personal fan.
