It is an amazing place. It has its own atmosphere, with a nice open kitchen and suggestions on hiking tours in the Orosi Valley. If I am around here again I would definitely come back!

Friendly and welcoming staff - offer lots of help to make sure I was able to get to the hostel from San Jose. Great property and definitely worth the money.

It was awsome! You can see almost all Costa Rica from the location. Emilio knows sooo much about nature and takes care of it incredibily. Their restaurant is really good. Everyone was so friendly and helpful.
Having the entire place to ourselves provided a unique sense of privacy and exclusivity during the stay, which is often a rare luxury in any accommodation. This aspect allowed for a more personal and uninterrupted experience, offering a peaceful retreat from the usual bustling atmosphere of a hostel.
The accommodation is in a large house that is run like a 'hostel'. The rooms are nicely furnished. We received a warm welcome. The owners don't live in the house and it sometimes felt a bit strange to be all alone in this house. The kitchen is available to everyone, so you can cook your own food. The car can be parked safely in the garden. Orosi is a pretty little village with a pleasant atmosphere. Restaurants and small shops are within walking distance. There are beautiful excursion possibilities in the surrounding area.
A good location in downtown Turrialba. The staff were helpful and friendly and we made use of the outdoor common areas - a backyard garden and a rooftop deck. We liked the clean kitchen. The property is somewhat idiosyncratic, about half-way between a hotel and a hostel. I think they were transitioning to a hotel during our visit. We, a couple, had a dorm room with two bunk beds and a private bath across the hall; a bit unusual but the facilities were fine.

After over a month in Costa Rica, Iyok Ami is definetely the nicest place I've been to. Everyone is extremely lovely and caring. Food is really great. The hostel has a trail systems that is worth exploring, and Quetzals can be seen from the living room. It can get cold at night, but with such human warmth and a few blankets, nothing to worry about. I couldn't recommend more staying here !!
Helpful and kind staff/owners, near center city, parking car in garage, safety, great house
Great location, very easy to find. we were able to park our car within the hotel gates so it was safe for the night. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean, the beds comfortable and the hotel has a nice roof terrace where you can lounge after a long drive and enjoy the view of the city.
Such a pretty little hostel, really nice vibe and really cosy, our room was perfect even had our own private washer, really happy and great location for orosi
Nice staff, cool chilly atmosphere for backpackers. The rooms are really small but therefore cheap.
