With hammocks right outside the hut. The food was nice but a bit pricey (in line with the rest of the prices in the park though).

The Valley Tayrona hostel- A social jungle hostel features an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a shared lounge and terrace in El Zaino. It's in the jungle, the walk there it's an adventure by itself, still not hard at all. 20 to 30 minutes walk to the Zaino entrance of the Tayrona park, 30 minutes by bus to Santa Marta, 10 minutes to Poza encanto entrance and Mandiguaca beach from the mean entrance of the hostel by bus, 15 minutes by bus to El Rio Guachaca entrance if you want to visit the hidden waterfalls of El Saltillo. Staff are very friendly, funny and lovely people. Food is good, I don't drink cocktails, but I saw many drinking cocktail after another. I was traveling alone and expected to be alone the whole trip, but I met a lot of travelers from different countries in it and spent my whole trip with them even after leaving the hostel to explore the Tayrona park we stayed together. The great ambient there made it possible for me and others to share the trip in group. I CAN'T RECOMMEND IT ENOUGH, GO THERE AND SEE YOURSELF.

The location is superb,putting you inside the park and relatively close to the trailhead. The property and surrounding environment are beautiful. The birding there was better than it was on the trails. Titi monkeys visited and four macaws are regulars. The host family is super casual, friendly and helpful. The food and drinks are tasty!

Was lovely to stay here and sit and chill out for a few days

Located in El Zaino, La Finca Lorena Tayrona features a garden, terrace, bar, and free WiFi throughout the property. This place is amazing! The setting is stunning, the building is beautiful and the rooms are extremely clean. Ruth is also the most lovely host and made me feel so ar home - she cooked two delicious meals which were perfect after long days of hiking. Thank you La Finca Lorena!!
