Life is Good Cartagena Hostel has a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Cartagena de Indias. One of my top places I would recommend to fellow travelers. The staff here are so attentive and responsive to whatever is needed. I had a security situation happen while staying here and the staff went above and beyond to assure I was safe and secure. The staff really care about their guests and it was so nice as a solo traveler to feel like I had people who were watching out for me. Many budget accommodations don’t give the same care and attention as Life is Good, you really get much more than what you pay with this place. Plus the breakfast & cooking class are fantastic.

Hostal Casa de las Americas features air-conditioned rooms in the Getsemani district of Cartagena de Indias. The property is situated 2.2 km from Cartagena's Walls, 2.6 km from Cartagena's Gold... David and his wife made me feel very comfortable at their lovely place. They moved me to an even better room with a french balcony when it became available, and they would bring me coffe/tea or a fruit platter in the mornings even tough it wasn't included. It was very clean and I felt very safe, the AC was really good and the room had a smart TV. They really went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and comfortable during the whole trip, especially when I got sick. Thank you so much! I will see you again if I come back to Cartagena.

Conveniently set in the centre of Cartagena de Indias, CASA MOVIDA HOSTEL provides air-conditioned rooms, a garden, free WiFi and a shared lounge. Beautiful building, very clean everywhere. Dorm was surprisingly quiet, very pleasant. Great modern toilets and bathrooms - with hot water. Location was perfect! Would 10/10 recommend.

Santuario Getsemani Hostel in Cartagena de Indias provides adults-only accommodation with a garden, a shared lounge and a bar. The dorm beds are the best I've seen, providing you with your own space and great privacy. Staff were lovely, and the constant presence of kitchen hands meant a high standard of cleanliness was maintained in the kitchen. Best of all, this hostel is TRUELY SOCIAL.

Casa Del Pozo Boutique House has an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a shared lounge and restaurant in Cartagena de Indias. Clean, AC is working, staff is super nice and can give information on how to get from A to B.
