I had the most amazing time at the Nomada hostel. So good that I stayed 3 weeks in total ! To start with, it is very confortable and well thought. Everything, from the big kitchen to the nice clean bathrooms to the well arranged dorm is very convenient. The garden is very peaceful with its hamacs, its beautiful jungle plants and its nice bar. But the best thing about this place are Jonathan and Romel, the owners. They really make you feel at home and create an amazing atmosphere. They’re always up to chat and spend time with the visitors and give very nice recommandations about what to do in the area. They make it the perfect place to relax as well as to meet people and have a few drinks at night. Little extra 1 : there is always good music playing Little extra 2 : Romel’s caïpirinias are amazing Little extra 3 : Jonathan is a very talented tatoo artist so you can leave with a little souvenir on your skin. Will definitely go back

Leticias Guest House served as a great base from where to explore Amazonas, and doubly more so for us non-Spanish speakers. If coming to Amazonas, I would book them first and then plan the rest of trip in location. The hostess and her son were very friendly and spoke excellent English - and were always available to help out planning my activities. Through the Guest House, I got a customized and authentic two-day trip to the rainforest with an interpreter with me, and with a very good price. I also really loved the food the Guest House offered. Ate breakfast every morning and a customized supper. Location was nicely next to the Santander park and easily within the walking distance from the port. When I left, I walked to the airport which was a nice 15-minute trek. I initially only stayed 1 night, but ended up coming back for the rest of the trip.

This is a great hostel. It has all the little things that made it really great: shampoo in the bathroom, letting you check in a little early, personal fan and light beside bed. The location is good too, plus cats for any cat lovers
