The common grounds, bathrooms and dorm was always clean, the bed was cosy and felt isolated. The hostel arranged Social activities like dumpling party, going out for hot-pot and movie night. The common areas was very good for concentration on work. And a good place to enjoy a coffee in the morning and a beer in the evening.

I had a wonderful stay at Sonderia Hostel & Bar – Lazybones Hostel, and it brought back memories because I unknowingly booked the same hostel I stayed at 8 years ago! Clearly, they're doing something right to stay on top for so long. The staff here are exceptional – Penny, Green, Nicole, and Laura were always there to help, from downloading apps and VPNs to showing me around the city and even ordering dinner. Their hospitality made the hostel feel like home during my 7-night stay. The bar is a great place to meet people, and I had a blast learning new drinking games with fellow travelers. It truly made my experience in Chengdu unforgettable.

Menawarkan taman, lounge berkongsi serta teres, POSHPACKER·Chengdu Local Tea Hostel terletak di pusat Chengdu, 1.7km dari Jalan Chunxi. The staff were great, really helpful and all spoke English. The room was comfortable and towels were changed every day. We had shower gel, shampoo, a hairdryer, and a TV. The beds were quite comfortable. There is a pool table in the hostel and a little chill out room. They helped us organise trips and gave great suggestions of where to go in the city. The peoples park and the wide and narrow alleys were 2 of my favourite places, and Anshun bridge at night is stunning, there's lots of bars around here so seems to be where the nightlife is. There's a metro stop right in front of the hostel, although we mostly got taxis through didi app because they're so cheap. If you're looking for good hotpot, I can recommend Jincheng impression hotpot. It was delicious! A special thanks to May who was really helpful and organised our trip to Dujiangyan irrigation and Qingcheng mountain. It was beautiful and a really nice day out. We went through the Huanglongxi Ancient Town which was so nice and worth a visit. My favourite trip was the pandas and leshan buddha.

Chengdu Mix Hostel Poshpacker has been a welcoming haven for international travelers for almost 20 years, offering a cozy retreat in this traditional courtyard house to experience Chengdu's laid-back... I had such a wonderful stay. If you're open minded and willing to meet local people, it's such a great place to make local friends who are working/studying in Chengdu and some speak English and want to practice! I was able to make friends and eat Hot pot with them. The main floor is clean and an old man, maybe the owner, cleans every morning. There's always water available. The location is great!

Chengdu Flipflop Hostel Poshpacker is perfectly located in downtown Chengdu, right next to Taikooli, the core of Chengdu’s downtown commercial center. This place is absolutely worth it! Have absolutely nothing bad to say about it. Very nice location in an area full of restaurants, bars, street food and clubs. Very welcoming staff, great common areas, super clean rooms with private bathroom. I loved this place.

Highly recommended by the Lonely Planet Guidebook, Teddy Bear Hotel is a 5-minute walk from the Mount Emei Scenic Area. It houses a teddy bear themed Café and accommodation with free internet access. Big and comfy room, perfect location really close to park and bus station, amazing hospitality! Andy will give the best tips to organize Mount Emeishan trekking!
