Really great location in the old town of Qingdao. The staff were so lovely and had a good level of English so could give us recommendations and answer any questions we had. They gave us a map recommending restaurants offering local food as well as places to get drinks. We only stayed three nights and wish we’d stayed longer. We stayed in a private room so can’t speak for the dorms but the room was lovely and definitely didn’t feel like other private rooms we’ve stayed at in hostels

Historic setting, helpful staff, great location

The family is super friendly and helped me a lot! Sometimes somebody played some instruments in the backyard a d we sat around a campfire. The hostel is very cozy.

Breakfast was great and great location

Very cozy former German style house. Staff is lovely and design including common area and restaurant is very welcoming. Hostel guests get a discount at the restaurant. Good pizza

Rooms were large, beds very comfy, gym was great, huge desk for work, in a great location. Would recommend 10/10
