Ideally set in the centre of Xiamen, Xiamen Desti Youth Park Hostel Zhongshan Road features air-conditioned rooms, a shared lounge, free WiFi and a bar. Easily one of the best hostels I've ever been to. Everything was extremely clean, the stuff was really friendly, it's located in the perfect location and the bed and common rooms are just super comfortable. The even serve very good coffee and have a very social and nice common areas.

We were able to check in early and the staff working there was super nice. The room was very clean and the beds had nice curtains and were so comfortable. The bathrooms were also very nice and well stocked. The kitchen was also nice with many appliances (toaster oven, coffee machine, fridge, stove) and free snacks/food!

Great family-run hostel in a traditional Matsu stonehouse in the beautiful village of Jinsha. Cozy dorm rooms, bunk beds have curtains, so you have some privacy. Good aircon, nice common area, good internet. Attached is a small restaurant/bar, only bar in the village. Every evening good mood in hostel, people and staff coming together. The village is quiet, has infrequent bus connection and good walking options with scenic trails to Matsu Statue, Iron Fort and Beishan Tunnels. I was there, when a big taifun hit Taiwan Owner Darren and the others were so super helpful and caring with lots of useful advice and bringing us to airport twice to get on waiting list of airline. It was really an amazing and unique hospitality during this taifun.
