Helping with any needs, had suggestions where to rent a bike cheap and the hostel is close to the city centre. And they had great stuff in their kitchen for free use (cofee, oats, cuttlery, etc). A wonderful place with a lovely outdoor kitchen, lots of trees and greenery around, and it felt very secluded. A very peaceful, respectful place. We will miss it!

Situated in La Serena, within 2.1 km of El Faro Beach and 2.3 km of Playa Los Fuertes, Hostal Luna del Mar 840-B features accommodation with a terrace and free WiFi throughout the property as well as... The family who work here are great. They were very helpful, had bag storage, clothes washing facilities and we're very kind to provide us with breakfast items the evening before, as we were leaving very early on a tour the next day. The room and bathroom was clean and the outdoor seating area is a nice place to sit and relax. The place is close to the bus stations and the centre of town.

We rented bikes from the hostel to go on a fun ride to Coquimbo. Room was clean and there is a commune area. Rodrigo gave us some great travel tips for Vicuna, our next stop. Super kind and helpful - walked us to the bus station as well.
