Set in Coronel José Dias, Casa Barreirinho Parque Nacional Serra da Capivara has a garden, shared lounge, terrace, and free WiFi. Location is right by the park entrance, perfect (much closer than São Raimundo Nonato). Peaceful and in the middle of nature. Amazing sky / star gazing opportunity (property has a nice observation platform). Very friendly staff and owner (Uwe), who helped us in any way possible. Breakfast is paid extra but worth it. Location is a bit remote but if you have a car, no problem, there is one restaurant near by and some more in the next village. It is simple and homely but we loved it, it was exactly what we were looking for (peace, nature, wildlife) and we would 100% go back!

Breakfast was great, location as well, the hsotel is around 7 min walking from basically a private beach. It is a great space, very nature friendly, awesome staff.

Breezy hostel with a pretty front and back patio with two cute playful kitties, friendly staff and clean rooms. Breakfast was basic, but included homemade jam (yum!) and the remaining coffee was left on the table throughout the day for guests to drink. Spacious kitchen with drinking water tap (you’ll need some patience though 😅). There’s lockers, but I didn’t feel like it needed them. The neighbourhood was quiet and felt safe.
