The price-value ratio is just incredible. We had the whole room for ourselves only, and to be honest, that was really perfect. The room has all you need, and if you're not looking for Hilton-kind of facilities, that's an awesome place to stay. Note: Our experience is based on the fact that we took the whole room. If we had someone, maybe our experience would be worse, but in our situation, we paid for the HOSTEL but lived in a HOTEL instead. The location is also great!
Duinbergen, Knokke-Heist
Lakeside Paradise Sport Hostel features a garden, private beach area, a terrace and restaurant in Knokke-Heist. Featuring a bar, the hostel is close to several noted attractions, around 1.8 km from Albertstrand Beach and around 1.3 km from Duinbergen Train Station. The hostel is nice but unfortunately they could not accommodate me in the private room I booked. I was offered a shared dormitory room. It was okay so I opted for staying there and I had a good sleep. There weren't any issues. You could lock your valuables in the lockers.
Great location (easy to access, close to the Blankenberge seaside and not far from Brugge). The room was spacey and had many beds (a bunk bed for my kids - really a treat!) The kitchenette had everything for cooking, although this was not mentioned in the announcement. We were not ready for it, so it would have been great to know for us to accommodate for our special food preferences.
Great budget hotel in a great location
Quite simply lovely from the friendly check-in with bubbly, to the exceptional breakfast, to the friendly checkout with parting gift. Art déco style hôtel with delightful rooms in a great location. Not cheap but great value.
Great traditional boutique hotel. Colonial style. Very clean rooms. Traditional, tasteful furnishings and artwork. Plenty of parking. Safe space for bikes. Bar facilities for nightcap. Goog breakfast. Friendly reception. Great location on canal intersection. Tranquil atmosphere. We will visit again
Nice room, bathroom door didn’t lock which wasn’t a problem for us. Very noisy family in adjoining room, a little more sound proofing would be an enormous help. Reception staff were great, bar staff was a little sullen, and bar was very badly stocked, we had to go out to drink sadly. Overall though I would recommend you, great location, lovely breakfast and very helpful staff on the whole.
Possibly the best breakfast in any hotel we've stayed in. Faultless fast wifi throughout. Comfortable bar/lounge area. Quirky decor. Great location close to the beach and the town centre. Is this a 'backpackers hostel for grown-ups'?
