Offering a bar and a terrace, Liège Youth Hostel is located 500 metres from the city centre and the shopping district. Free WiFi access is available. Rooms will provide you with functional bedding. Everything !!!! Like a dream come true to be staying in a cloister from 1683 is just incredible. With a view of the church out of the window. Loved hearing the church bell chiming. The hostel has been renovated to still show the stunning arches and brickwork. The four bed dorm was super comfy. The bunk beds are made of solid steel, so no noises when you move, also the top bunk is high enough that you can sit on the bottom bunk comfortably. The bathrooms have great showers, basins and toilets, never had to wait to use any of the facilities. The facilities downstairs are really great. Quite a few seating areas, pool table, vending machine, plus a bar to buy snacks and drinks. Not that you need to buy snacks as their breakfast is one of the best I have had on my whole Belgium trip. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Very centrally located. Walked to the river, over the bridges and you are in the centre of town. Quite a few supermarkets right near the hostel, to buy food to prepare yourself in the communal kitchen or buy from the many restaurants right outside.

The hostel is very well-located, with a football field, BBQ, and ping-pong table, very nice and cozy lounge area. The breakfast does not have a huge selection, but is very tasty: bio and local eggs, cheese, yoghurt. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area, the room very clean and beds comfortable. Value for money is great!

It had been a while since staying at a youth hotel and this one was great. It was out of peak season so fairly quiet. Easy to get to by bus from the train station. Clean, secure basic but very comfortable room with en suite and lovely view from room and from the deck of common area. A simple but adequate continental breakfast was perfect to get going the next day. We had come to Eupen for a music event and if we hadn't locked in other plans would have extended our stay to do some of the hikes nearby. The sights and delights of Eupen are all within 15 to 20 minutes walk or jump on the bus to town.
