They are very friendly and helpful, respecting the needs of each guest. Overall, it was a lovely experience that would definitely make me go back there again.

The location is perfect, really close to the old town and all the sights but still a quiet neighborhood, where you can get good sleep at night. The cable car station is just a few minutes away as well. The host is a really friendly person and helps you with all your questions. The hostel has a nice common area with a spacious and well equipped kitchen.

Hostel Franz Ferdinand is located in the city center, just 10 metres away from the main pedestrian street and 100 metres away from Bascarsija and other attractive and important sights of Sarajevo. Free lockers are provided in all units as well as heating, towels and free tea and coffee for the guests. All units are non-smoking. All the staff was SO friendly and extra helpful, I ended up staying a little more than 2 weeks there and had everything in hand. Always hot water, and a fully equipped kitchen, the location couldn't be any better. I was sleeping most of the day because I work from my laptop at night (American time) and the people who worked there always made sure I was OK. One night I had way too many drinks and the next day I had the worst hangover of my life, they were checking on me and making sure I was OK and even brought me tea to bed. Sweetest girls!
