Featuring an outdoor swimming pool, free BBQ facilities and free parking, Alice’s Secret Travellers Inn offers air-conditioned accommodation, 5 minutes’ walk from the town centre. This is a special place-very calm and friendly. At 64 I am new to backpacking & was worried about fitting in. Age is irrelevant here as everyone mixes easily. AST is so relaxed and comfortable, after five days I didn't want to leave, but not surprisingly they were fully booked.

The location was perfect, right in the city and a short walk to cafes, restaurants, supermarkets, and other shops. The amenities at YHA was clean and well maintained. The staff were very friendly and helpful with travel recommendations.

Ideally set in the centre of Darwin, The Cozy Hostel - Motel features air-conditioned rooms, free bikes, free WiFi and a garden. This 3-star hostel offers a shared kitchen and a shared lounge. This is not big hostel and it’s like big house. So everyone is very friendly and nice vibes. Owner is also nice. When I asked something, he responded quickly and solved problem. I wish I stay long term. It must be fun.

Really amazing hostel with a great manager Max, who makes you feel very welcome and comfortable! The hostel itself is right next to the city center but just these 3 minutes walking away, so you can enjoy a silent sleep. The pool and whole hostel atmosphere makes you feel like you’re in Hawaii or some exotic place, I had a truly fabulous time there!! :)

Due to extreme staff shortages, our recpetion is unattended majority of the time. We have a fully automated 24 hour self check-in kiosk system. Good swimming pool, good room of 4 with a fridge and AC, nice people, kitchen ok

Located in the heart of Darwin's city centre, Youth Shack Backpackers features an outdoor swimming pool, a bar and a sun terrace. Darwin Harbour is just a 5-minute walk away. Only stayed 2 nights, checked in late and staff were great. Location is perfect. Despite being on the main street, not too noisy. Room was clean. Sink and fridge in room which is great.
