We love the design of the hostel. It is an old building but it is maintained very well and clean. We only stayed one night so didn't have a chance to use a kitchen but they have a huge kitchen space which we loved! The staff who helped us with check-in was very friendly and gave us some good recommendations as well:) The hostel is located near the trail of the Blue Mountain which was a bonus for us too! We wish we could stay longer:D

Set 2.4 km from Katoomba Scenic World, Katoomba Mountain Lodge offers 2-star accommodation in Katoomba and has a garden, a shared lounge and a terrace. Pretty good for a private room at a backpackers. We were up high with cute window seat and view. My partner thought it smelled weird with strange vibes, but I was pretty happy, room was cute, toilet and showers were separate but private and lockable.it definitely a quirky place but was still quite and reasonably clean.
