Contiki Haus Schöneck se găsește în Hopfgarten im Brixental, la 16 km de Golfclub Kitzbühel Schwarzsee, și oferă cazare de 3 stele, un lounge comun, o terasă și un bar. Staff were honestly fantastic - they tried so so hard to accomodate the guests. There was an igloo party one night at the resort (nothing to do with the hostel) and the girl on reception arranged a coach off her own back so the guests could go (as it was hard to get home from) - genuinely fantastic effort. If the bar was just a little quiet the staff often went and had a beer with the guests etc so they felt accommodated. Breakfast was fantastic - really good buffet with hot and cold options - staff were attentive and kept it topped up, food was really well cooked. Location was pretty good - its around a 5 minute drive from the ski resort, and they put shuttles/coaches on morning and night. Bear in mind the prices you pay for accom right at the slopes I really cant complain at all its a great concept. The only thing I could mybe mention location wise is there's not much in the nearby (20 mins walk) town of Hopfgarten - places to eat, and apres ski bars in the town and coming off the slopes, but not really anywhere to drink after about 8pm, (except the hostel itself) unless you get a taxi to the next town Westendorf, which isn't walking distance and was around 30 EUR taxi. The whole place was absolutely spotless - the staff/managers certainly appeared to take a real pride in the place - and why not its lovely. Overall thanks very much guys, had a fantastic time, you were brilliant.

The showers were very clean and easy to get to. There was lots of room for your belongings and ski / snowboard equipment. You had to bring all your own food, cook all your own food, and clean up after yourself. The other guests did a good job doing their part to keep common areas clean.

Wei then gave me instructions how to enter the place. I found my room. There were several other rooms in this house, but I was the only guest. There was a large kitchen, dining room, TV room and even a swimming pool outside. Oh yeah. Wifi worked well.
