Just 500 metres from Alpen-Adria-Universität Klagenfurt, the Jugend- und Familiengästehaus Klagenfurt offers non-smoking accommodation with a lounge featuring free Wi-Fi. The room was nice, cozy and clean, breakfast was decent and the location is excellent. The hotel essentially has its own bus stop, and it is just a few bus stops away from the beach.

Very friendly and helpfull staff Great Location only about 20 min till we were in the centre very calm property clean rooms big area good breakfast, buffet style even bigger than we thought for that price

The centre of Villach is a 10-minute walk from the Jugend- und Familiengästehaus, which offers simply furnished rooms. Breakfast and half-board are available, and at a surcharge, a sauna can be used. Excellent value and for the price paid I couldn’t ask for better place to stay. Ladies at the front desk were helpful and friendly, good breakfast included, the room was comfortable, clean and close to the center of Villach and the Italian border. I used this place as a stopover on my way south to Italy but I wouldn’t hesitate to come back to do some local exploration as there is so much to see and do in the vicinity of Villach. Highly recommended.
