Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.
Great location in the nature, close to Tsistsikamma park (10 min by car). The staff was very kind, he allowed us to make a late check in (even though with an extra fee) and explained everything about the activities in the park.
The cabin is nice and cozy, there is everything you need to cook your meal.
View was amazing, especially from the dining room. The breakfast was delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful. Feeling private and safe in the log cabin with a fire to warm you up was the perfect setting.
The staff is absolutely amazing when it comes to service and friendliness!
The tubing company is connected to that hostel, which is highly recommended to do, just because you get the greatest guides with it. In the end, we actually spent more time with the staff and found friends in some of them than other backpackers who would just stay for a night.
Come in and stay longer :)
Great location, amazing tents and awesome sky view. Would totally recommend staying with the backpackers and walk around the village to explore more. Try tubbing on the river and some local brewery on the main street.
Nothing at all, we didn't sleep at the place we had to look for another place to sleep, the Dijembe backpackers is a very creepy place its nothing like the pictures on their social page. Its dirty and its not safe at all. We were not happy at all as a results we would like a refund.
