Looking for a hostel?
Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.

Everything! It is a gorgeous, modern, clean, and beautifully appointed guest house with fabulous views over Mosel Bay. Our room was very spacious with a large balcony facing the ocean. The common areas were welcoming and beautiful (I wish we had more time to spend there!). The breakfast was delicious. Parking was safe and convenient. Great location - it is a great base for exploring the area.

It’s a really cool experience, and they’ve done a great job with the old train. It’s a perfect location to the beach and we had a quick dip in the morning, which is great fun! I’m not sure I wanna stay here for ages because it is quite tight, but I guess that’s what you get when you stay on the train. It felt very safe and the staff were very friendly on check-in. It’s also a great location to explore all Mossel Bay has to offer which is a lot!

It’s a novelty to stay in a train so yes it’s not the most luxurious accommodation so expect hostel vibes (shared bathroom, small cabins for the standard room) but for us it was worth it for our one night stay (also fairly cheap!). We enjoyed staying right on the seafront with access to the beach, and surprisingly wasn’t too hot at night with the windows letting a breeze in.

Great location. Close to the waterpark. Swimming pool in the complex, as advertised. The unit was relatively small, but nice and clean. Perfect if you're looking for a budget unit.
