Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.
As per my pervious rating, this is a great location and a home away from home. You are pretty much on the beach and the lovely large veranda makes for great relaxation looking at, and listening to the ocean. Well equipped - the addition of the indoor dining table is great for those extra hot KZN days or cool evenings.
It was lovely to have a home all to ourselves for our holiday. The beds were comfortable and clean and there was a stocked kitchen with all the goodies we might have needed for our our trip. I felt safe and comfortable and would return there again.
Ps. The master bathroom was huge and makes me want one just like that at home!
Was quite, safe, functional, well priced, beds were SUPER comfortable, and place was very clean. Would definitely recommend this destination for any family wanting to just relax and reconnect with each other.
The pictures don’t do the shack justice. The view of the ocean was a plus, the kitchen with is window view of the ocean = beautiful and I loved the indoor/outdoor shower 🚿
I was traveling alone and felt completely safe.
It was easy to get in and out of the property. I will definitely be booking again 😊
