Looking for a hostel?
Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.

Great location right next to the Franschhoek tram terminal. Big Pick&Pay right next door to allow easy self catering or a short (safe!) walk along the main road to lots of lovely restaurants. The apartment is a great size with everything you could want for a short or longer stay. The host was lovely - lots of info beforehand and very responsive during and after.

La Reverie is a stylish and comfortable B&B in a great location in Franschoek. The staff were really friendly and welcoming. We had an early morning Wine Tram booked and they kindly allowed us to park there a few hours ahead of check in. It is a short walk to the centre of town, in a safe area. The pool is lovely after a hot day visiting the wineries.

Great location, safe and clean. There were some issues with access to the property. The remote plip in the lockbox did not work, however Robyn arrived quickly with the spare set.

Great location, safe and only 2 minutes walk from main street. Room and bathroom was very clean and we had a little balcony to sit on for a coffee in the morning. The place had a coffee machine and capsules which was greatly appreciated. Hosts live on the property and help explan all we needed to know about the town.

Great location, convenient parking. The cottage itself is very spacious even for two couples. The hosts are marvellous and gave us loads of information about the local area. Easy to walk out to everything and it all felt very safe. Beds are comfortable and excellent to be able to use the washing machine as well
