Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.
We were booked into a family room, which had a double bed and bunk beds. The beds were very comfortable and the area spacious.
The bathroom was lovely and spacious as well.
The property is well situated for visits to Addo Elephant Park. Close to shops too.
Was well organized. We got the posibilty to book a safari tour spontaneosly. We enjoy the safari. Its near the addo nationalpark. We felt safe. The staff was very friendly. The Food was very delicious and authentic. It was a experience beside the normal tourism.
You can’t go wrong here - beautiful nature with fantastic, safe walking opportunities. Home-cooked, traditional food which was such a treat! We absolutely loved our stay at Valley Bushveld Lodge.
The location is truly magical with great views and surrounded by nature - no noise from any roads! The gravel driveway (behind the gate) is long enough to make for a good/safe running route, which was an added bonus.
The vibe is definitely to book dinner and tours, which we weren't planning on doing and felt a little awkward at check in. I was also surprised that such a luxury stay had the cheapest hair dryer in the room.
Lovely place to stay. Staff friendly and a great location. Safe and comfy, modern and sleek.
Bed was super compatible. Loved the fact it had carpet around the bed so your feed were off the cold tiles. (We were there in winter) Fantastic breakfast that's a five star.
Very good wifi and Internet speed.
Very nice and modern Bungalow rooms with huge bathrooms on a large property. Nice quality materials and finish. Great location, for a day Trip to Addo Elephant Park. Safe parking.
