Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.
In the end, hostels are only about the staff. You can deal with pretty much everything else, but an awful staff can ruin a great hostel and a great staff can make everything alright. The place is fine, maybe a bit far, maybe not that great. But Naziva and Atambek helped me so much and were so nice that I would come back one thousand times.
The receptionist Atabek is so professional, polite, helpful and was a pleasure to talk to.
He let us park our motorbikes out of sight around the back.
Very clean rooms for Uzbekistan. The cafe attached to the hostel does great food.
Great location just off the main museum square; very comfy beds - we had a great night sleep; friendly and helpful hosts who provided local tips and helped us arranged transfers; good WiFi. We would definitely stay with them again :)
This place is highly recommended. We spent a night here on our way to Kazakhstan, and had a wonderful time. The family that runs the place is very kind and helpful, and they speak English. The food was very good, and the setting is in a nice quiet neighbourhood with a very nice garden. A true family-run hostel in the best way possible. The rooms and amenities are perfect and very, very clean. The family offered to help us book taxis to go to the city center, and even drive us to the train station. We look forward to coming back.
CLEAN! Very good beds and 2 comfy pillows. We had room with a bathroom, good shower. Staff is superfriendly.
It is a hostel with hotel quality. The best hostel we had.
Lovely hostel, the staff is very nice. There is a little 24h restaurant attached to it. A bit basic but cheap and cheerful.
The location is a good walk from the city centre (30 min) but it was a quiet neighborhood.
The room was lovely with a wide window and the beds were very nice.
