This hostel is new and everything is well though and pretty.
The rooms have everything you need: comfy bed, a window, personal electricity outlet and lockers.
The toilets and showers are new and clean.
The common space is comfy for both socialising and some personal time.
The shared kitchen is clean and functional.
There are some lovely animals roaming around: a cat and a couple of dogs.
The owner is very attentive and sympathetic!
Only 300 metres from El Rivero Beach, Compay Hostel has comfortable common areas, a garden with hammocks and camping space. WiFi access is free and the downtown area is 300 metres away.

Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.

This hostel is the perfect example of what hostels should be: friendly, chill, and fostering the meeting of new people. If you have the opportunity, stay for the evening meal around the big table. Not only will you meet new people, the food is also quite delicious!
The staff is also absolutely wonderful, always ready to help, and super duper friendly.

This is such a special place. It felt like home from from day 1. The staff are very welcoming, caring and helpful. There is a ‘buena onda’ feeling that goes around.
The morning and evening meals are a great way of connecting with other travellers and the layout of the rooms also make it very easy to socialise, especially if you’re travelling alone.
So far, best hostel I’ve stayed in!
We had a great stay at the hostel, the staff were really friendly and created an amazing environment to meet new people. They cooked dinner in the evenings for all of us for a reasonable extra price.
