It was okay-ish for me as I have low standards:
1. It's super cheap, only $20 per night when booked on Booking.com. That also means it could attract questionable people - I had no issues.
2. I've never seen any staff on the premises. Online check in went smooth, but I can imagine it could get complicated.
3. As others mentioned toilet paper is frequently lacking.
4. That one is probably the worst - It's hard to say if they wash the sheets when guests leave, I haven't seen anybody doing it in my room over the 4 days. They definitely don't present them well, all piled up.
5. The kitchen is large, but no plates or cutlery, everything lacking, there is one small table with a couple of chairs. No common room with TV as opposed to the listing.
6. The room they gave us had 8 beds, even though on booking it said 6. That seems to be a recurring issue as per other reviews. The number of people never exceeded 5 though.
7. The neighborhood is quite residential and felt safe, although I think as you head more south it's meant to get rougher.
8. The cleanliness was okay - not great, not terrible.
9. Altogether the place has a great potential, but most of it is wasted.

Stayed there 10 years ago and was happy to be back. I remembered a colorful hostel, but that has been gone. Now it feels more functional, lacking a bit of atmosphere. Still good enough for a night or two.
Location is certainly great and according to the staff much safer than 10 years ago.
Beds are a bit rusty, but mattresses are super comfy.

The Rosemary is nicely done and the room was OK. Unfortunately, my room was not cleaned by the previous guest and it was not cleaned during the four days of my stay. So no fresh bed and no fresh towels. How many stars do you give then? The cleaner was very friendly, but unfortunately didn't speak a word of English

I stayed here for a night during my 20 hour layover at LAX. It was not too far from the LAX but it cost you about 50USD from the airport. The place was in a quite neighbor hood but I did not feel secure going out at night (I think anywhere in the US is not really safe anyways). Over all the place was very clean and everything was working fine. Good budget place to stay, if you have a long layover at the airport.
Perfect convenient location for a short (safe) walk to SoFi stadium/ YouTube Theatre for concerts and events. Friendly helpful staff, clean rooms and good security. Would definitely stay there again.
Great location near the airport. Parking are just $10 per night. Room big and bed comfortable. Room had safe, fridge, microwave and coffee machine.Breakfast was included. Choicr of waffles, juice, sausage, egg, cereal, fruit, bread and cakes.Staff friendly.
Great location, airport shuttle, easy access to shops for food and other supplies. Lots of parking. Room was very large clean and comfortable. I stayed five nights by myself and felt really safe as always staff and security around. I would stay here again.
It was a cheap taxi fare from the airport. The room was very basic but we expected this as it was very cheap. Good budget option.
