It was a normal youth hostel with 3 bunk beds and a locked door to each room to keep them private. The privacy helped the room be calm and quiet.

STOP Inn STAY HOSTEL, hotel in Houston

Located within 8.7 miles of Minute Maid Park and 9.1 miles of Wortham Center, STOP Inn STAY HOSTEL has rooms with air conditioning and a shared bathroom in Houston.

I paid $456 for 3 weeks. A day after my first night, they had a special where it was $100 a week and anyone could do it for the next month and wouldn’t refund me and let me do it. The AC broke 10 days in. They never fixed it. You pay a few more dollars a night to be in the middle of nowhere (a 30 min Uber or 1 hour bus ride to downtown) than opposed to other hostels IN DOWNTOWN in other cities I’ve been to like Hi! Hostel in New Orleans or the DT hostel in Asheville. The kitchen had no paper towels. The common area is a joke: no couches, no living room area, and basically only the kitchen. For the price and the location as opposed to other cities with similar feels to HTX like ATL or Nola, you pay $36 a night as opposed to twenty-something in the other cities for less amenities and you don’t even get basic things like soap or shampoo or paper towels or napkins in the kitchen! This establishment is a joke and I will not be back. I am also hoping for some type of refund considering the AC broke and the rest of this nonsense.
