There was no breakfast, but there was instant coffee and tea available all day. It was close to lots of public transportation, two blocks from Whole Foods and about 4 blocks from a Trader Joes.

My girlfriend and I had a great weekend in San Francisco staying at Samesun. We arrived early and were able to store our luggage and park our car prior (free parking) to check in. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Upon checking in, we found our room to be very large, clean, and comfortable. Breakfast was basic, but better than nothing. The location is amazing and once there we walked and rode bikes everywhere.

One of the best hostel I ever stayed! I was impressed by the cleaning and how people are respectful. The common area is great, you can easily working over there. There is everything to cook and store food and someone is here 24/7.
Budget travelers know there's no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: Save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a little more.
Very comfortable standard room (king bed). Friendly and competent staff, complementary breakfast of good quality. Extra bonus : possibility to park the car in a safe environment.
Excellent place to stay. I was here for a nights and it was an excellent value. Significantly cheaper than hotels while still being clean and quiet. Had no issues with shared spaces. The bathrooms on my floor were shred private/unisex. This place is very cool and I hope it keeps its class for a long time because tourists visiting San Francisco deserve such a warm and tranquil place like this, to make their visit to San Francisco memorable (all good memories)
This hostel is a great location for travellers, I spent a lot of time walking to nearby destinations. Room is located in the 2nd floor , possibly good for long term.
Terrible place to stay..manager is a drug addict and screams at people. Calls the hostel his house and he is just the manager. Filthy. I rented the showcase room and it was filthy with sex stained sheets and used lubricant in the trash. Bathroom had pubic hair on toilet and dirt in tub. Dirty surfaces. Dont ever stay here. You will flee for your life.
Great location in San Francisco. The room was spacious and clean.
