Looking for a hostel?
Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.

Staying at Elite Backpackers is like finding a sanctuary. The environment is absolutely beautiful, where you can find somewhere to relax in every corner. The staff are happy, friendly, super knowledgable and more than willing to help with anything you need. And to top it all off the meals are delicious!

Elite backpackers is a great place to stay. Hospitability is second to none. Staff is welcoming and always with a big friendly smile. The place is really well kept and the location is in a quiet place . Not far from Masaka town. Prices are more than reasonable and you will love your stay at Elite. Also there is nice swimming pool, a really good restaurant and a bar serving delicious coffee and drinks. Thought I would stay for 1 night but instead I stayed for 3 nights Highly recommended

As soon as we arrived we felt welcomed. We were only going to stay for one night but stayed 2 and didn’t want to leave. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The pool was great. The food was excellent. The staff were super friendly and helpful. We also loved the fact that Elite Backpackers directs 20% of the profits towards local community projects and helped us to go see the Masaka Kids Project during our stay. Five stars all round!

The welcoming and friendly staff and environment. A kind of countryside setup within the city. Food, safety, flexibility and great management. We enjoyed every moment in this place. Birds singing in morning.

The best place I stayed in Uganda They have nice rooms Very Friendly staff Bar/Restaurant/Pool The wi fi is ok for Netflix/YouTube but of you want to up/download something just forget about it My booking was for a dormitory but they gave me a double room for no extra cost Breakfast included There are 7 cats (3 baby's) running around to play with if you like cats They also escorted me back to the bus station in the city so that I don't get scammed by the boda drivers
