Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.
Friendly with spectrum of guests from voluntary workers to backpackers. Garden. The ladies worked hard to do more than adequate African breakfast each morning. Airport travel arranged at reasonable cost Basically a student hostel but safe and cleaned each week. Friendly dog and amazing gate keeper who kept Place secure.
Our 3-bed pent house overlooked the pool and palmy garden area. The upstairs bedrooms had a fantastic view of the city spread over Kampala’s many hills.
We loved everything. Facilities, ambience, food, service. Safe. Great location. Spotlessly clean. Friendly and helpful staff. Mohammad the Ugandan waiter at the restaurant was super attentive to us. Thank you to Muhammad.
We had massages and nails done by the Eric and his friendly staff at the salon. Thanks Sammy, Liz and Robin.
Everything was great! Staff was very nice and helpful. Very clean and safe. In Hostel is a lot of space to relax. Good breakfast. It was pleasure be there 😊 Thank you!
the staff were really friendly! They felt like one small family, taking care of us backpackers!
the property was in the heart of the city! everything going on: from street food, to night clubs! the streets are alive at the night time! completely different vibe than in the morning daytime 🤣.
really hospitable- i needed directions to travel out of Kampala, and Emmanuel peter (the person on duty) helped me to get out of Kampala safely.
My first time travelling to Africa and i love it! I’m still here!! haha i don’t want to leave Uganda!
Great location. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good common area to meet other travelers. Nice view from outside the hotel. It is very affordable compared to other hostels nearby.
Great location in the upscale Kololo neighbourhood. Unfortunately, some of the famous nearby nightlife such as Bubbles O'Leary's has closed or moved further away, but the hostel's bar & restaurant themselves are clearly a populat nightspot with locals.
just around the corner from acacia mall and nightlife
very nice staff
good breakfast with toast, eggs, big fruitsalad, coffee or tea
clean room with everything in it
very good deal if you want to stay in town. much cheaper than backpackers
This is a backpacker (style) hotel with many different kind of rooms, for different budgets. the staff is absolutely wonderful, above and beyond friendly and so helpful. Good shower, good bed, nice community style breakfast, great location. I will return.
