Looking for a hostel?
Budget travelers know there's no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: Save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a little more.
For €4 a night, I can't really complain. Especially because I was alone in the dorm room. Very spacious, kitchen is free to use, Laundry + dryer for 100 UAH. Showers are alright. Hostel serves its purpose.
For sure one of the best hostels in Ukraine. Excellent structure, dorms, baths, kitchen. Simple, comfortable and clean.
Perfect for backpackers. You can listen the river flowing from your bedroom. If you want to explore Rakhiv and the Zakarpathian region, that's the hostel!
The Good:
* Fabulous location, less than 5 minutes from the train station, small shops within 20m.
* Wonderful, forth-coming host. He offered me an upgrade for peanuts.
* Rooms feature everything a hostel should, including a table and a chair
* The fully equipped kitchen is MASSIVE
* The environs are what you would expect in Transcarpathia. You feel in the middle of nature.
* The building is located within a gated territory
* Bonus: cheap coffee machine on hostel premises
