Budget travelers know there's no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: Save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a little more.
We loved everything!
It was in a perfect location for us, close to shops and the beach.
The breakfast was amazing every morning.
The hotel itself is very clean, modern and intimate with only 4 rooms. We enjoyed staying here and felt beyond safe and happy with our choice. Elisabeth and Alex were amazing and always interacted with us, making us feel like we were staying with friends. All of the staff are lovely and very helpful and Scooby is extra special 🐾
the fact we stayed 2 more extra nights, rooms were big and clean and the staff made us feel at home . after previous and more expensive accommodation we were pleasantly surprised s it cheap and straight on the beach with all things we need , its like in the pictures and maybe much more better ! we definitely come back
Great mid-size hotel at the end of Kendwa beach but close enough to be able to easily walk along to other areas/restaurants. The beach here is lovely to swim in nearly all the time as is safe from the extremes of tides that you see elsewhere. Lots of sunbeds as well.
The staff were brilliant and as it was our honeymoon we were upgraded to all inclusive and the staff also organised a meal on the beach for us which was very kind. The rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable.
Staff were very friendly, welcoming and accommodating. Rooms were clean, had good air conditioning and a small fridge. The bathroom was spacious with a good shower - with hot water. Great location, about a 10 minute walk to the beach and food places. We felt safe during our time here and were overall happy with our stay.
Best and most service oriented staff 24/7 . great mattress great location-based , sea view balcony was the real treat , also tasty and fresh food , cocktails and juice!
Thanks a lot to Said the manager for having a great vecation and answering all my requests & needs with a big smile and kindness!
As a woman traveling alone, I felt so safe and in good and trustworthy hands. So, I am definitely recommending this awesome place ! Full value for money! Especially for the ones that lookin for recharging time off.
The location is excellent , right next to the best beach in Zanzibar . There are several cheap local restaurants and a liquor store next to the hotel. Spacious rooms with a fridge. European style bathroom. Very clean. Nice helpful service. It's very safe here. Breakfast served on the top floor in the hotel restaurant is sufficient (fruit, tea, coffee, juice, eggs). The owner is friendly and communicative. You can pay by credit card. Wifi works flawlessly.
found this place on the day we arrived after going to our booked property (five palms) and being so disappointed. glad we found Kendwa. great location, very helpful and friendly staff. felt safe the whole time. would defo recommend.
Russian speaking service
taxi service
cheap tours
great location next to main beach/market/restaurants
great view (sunset from 3rd floor)
fresh fruits every day
not many people;
good wi-fi
no hotel territory(spa/gym/entertainment) but it is close to other hotels which are open for visitors.
This place was dirty. Urinated all over the toilet sit, without being flashed. Bed and toiled was stained and old cheap quality garments. No sosp no water, no toilet paper. Jeremi the person who received me was polite. I showed him the toilet. And he agreed. But at the end they want to charge 30$ per night any way. This is a nightmare kind of experience. By the way this place is in a middle of a dirt place. You have to walk over trash to reach it. Door doesn't seem safe either.
