It was so cozy and the owner and employees there were SO nice and welcoming. When I arrived they gave me a plate of fruit and tofu pudding with enjoy, and if you spent time in the common area in the morning or evening, the owner would just bring you more fruit which is amazing when traveling. They helped me with anything I needed- a bigger pair of slippers, printing a visa, doing laundry/ translation; really anything you need they will help you. It’s very clean and quiet (as the name) and I got great sleep and my roommates were especially respectful. It’s not super social but it’s still just a nice calm atmosphere to relax and it’s not too hard to talk to someone if you’d like. I stayed in January so it’s off season- I imagine in high travel season in the summer there’s activities and way more backpackers in addition to local Taiwanese which would be even better/ more social! Amazing stay.

I recently stayed at a charming, family-run hostel located on Hai'an Street in Tainan, and it was an exceptional experience. The hostel's location is ideal, with easy access to nearby attractions and an abundance of delicious food options just a short walk away.
One of the highlights of my stay was the presence of three lovely cats that added a warm, homely touch to the environment. The hostel itself offers great amenities, including a sundeck, a terrace, and a peaceful courtyard where guests can relax. The dorm rooms are thoughtfully designed with curtains, ensuring privacy for each guest.
The owner and her family were incredibly friendly and caring, always ready to share stories, offer suggestions, and make sure guests feel at home. The owner, who is also a knowledgeable indigo dyeing teacher, brought a unique cultural aspect to my stay, making it even more memorable.

It’s very light proof, even want one at home. The location is excellent. Everything I want is within walking distance. Very ideal location for someone who can’t ride a motorbike.

I stayed at 6 female room. The room is roomy and clean. The locker area is located nearby the door area so it limited the distractions if someone was resting. The air condition is very comfortable. The bed is very spacious with a lot of room if you are moving around type of sleeper.
The hostel is located less than 10 minute walk from the high-speed train free shuttle bus # H31; it located opposite a big shopping mall with a lot of food stores in it. A Watson store is just at the corner of the street.
The public area is very spacious and modernness; a lot of sunlight. There is a very decent coffee-desert cafe located at the ground floor. The coffee shop’s lady is very soft spoken and friendly. I recommend to check it out.
The shower room is very clean and with sufficient spaces to do some routines (e.g. makeup 💄)
There is a pay washing machine and dryer located at the fifth floor.
The owner is pretty sweet and generous to share the moon festival’s pastries, snacks and some iced herbal/coffee with us for free.
It’s a very minimum space in the kitchen but I guess you don’t need to cook as the street foods are cheap and delicious.
The receptions are nice and fries in overall.

Best hostel during my 16-day trip Taiwan. The owner snd the staff were kind and friendly, accepted me with great hospitality. They were flexible regarding leaving the luggage before check-in and after check-out. It’s a super clean place, everything looks brand new. Good location, close to the stations and easy to reach An Ping. It was a perfect choice.

Very friendly and modern hostel with a cozy, homely vibe to it. The common area and kitchen are quite spacious, great to hang out and meet new people. At checkin you get a map of local attractions, restaurants and night markets. One of the best places I've stayed in Taiwan. Would recommend to anyone.
This hotel was my favorite of all my trip to Taiwan. It was the first time I visited a hostel, and for a first time, it was really great. The staff, decor, cleanliness, service and supplies were impeccable. A great location. Right outside the hotel bike stations for explore the town.
I am 1m90 and my biggest concern was space. Often, in hostels, space is limited.
The fear of not being comfortable, but the surprise of finding that the space is large and comfortable.

Wonderful manager and staff, super clean, has a full kitchen. Espresso machine with good quality coffee for a cheap price. Comfortable supportive beds with curtains. Lockers. Fruit on arrival. Great location. I loved it and will definitely come back.
The location was conveniently within reasonable walking distance to many of the main attractions in Tainan. The host was also very courteous and took extra time to provide information to alot of the local tourist locations. The hostel was indeed very quiet, the rooms are well sound proofed. The washrooms are very clean and well maintained and the host also was kind enough to provide a bowl of local fruits upon my arrival. For the price I booked it for, this really can't be beat.
