Very cozy and cute hostel - it’s like staying in someone’s house! Nothing was locked when I stayed there so there was no key to lose. The rooftop was chill, and there was free toast and peanut butter plus cold tea with jelly. The owner was super friendly and made me feel at home!

The host, Phil, was so nice and smiley! The room was great. Very clean with thoughtfully placed outlets and usb outlets. Location was perfect next to the port and very quiet (but maybe mid-October is low season). We were treated with very lovely breakfasts both mornings we were there.

Showers were great, bed had a comfy stiff feel, and the staff were all very nice and fun to converse with. Also, they were very gracious in allowing my unintentionally early check in and late check out. 10/10 and great value

We really enjoyed our stay at Diving Hostel. The owner picked us up at the ferry pier and gave us an introduction to Green Island. Our room was very spacious and everything was clean and comfy. The location of this hotel is also very good because it's close to restaurants and other shops. You can also rent scooters or book snorkeling or diving tours with the owner.
The pickup service from the ferry was very convenient and easy! We received a scooter right away, and they transported our luggage to the hostel. On the way back, we only had to drive to the ferry and we received our luggage there.
Kind staff and easy access from the harbor on foot. They arrange an scooter shop and there is a young male staff who speaks good English. The hostel have a cat and it’s sooooo cute!
The property is very strategically located just a couple meters away from the ferry dock. It is also surrounded by numerous scooter rental facilities as well as a few restaurants. The owner of the hostel was extremely helpful and made us feel at ease. The breakfast which was home cooked was delicious and made for a great start of the day. The room was clean and had a spacious bathroom.
One of the best hostels in Taiwan. David, the host, is very friendly. He takes an interest in you and is keen to help. I arrived at Green Island with no cash but David let me pay for the accommodation in GBP and gave me change in TWD which was very useful as I was unable to get cash from the ATM and most places on the island only accept cash. The hostel is less than a 5min scooter drive away from the harbour next to a quiet beach so you’re far away from the crowds and town and can see the stars at night.
Everything was great, the lady who owns the place came to get me from the harbour to the hostel, she is very gentle even if I don’t speak mandarin she gave me suggestions to visit the island. There is free food and drinks available in the kitchen which is very handy when you’re on a budget like me. The hostel is very close to the Chaikou snorkling spot which is stunning and to the museum. Thank you so much for everything I really recommand!
The host is indeed very nice, it feels more like stepping into a home than a hostel and that's nice. She tried hard to communicate without speaking English and she helped us out when necessary! The place is also cheap.
The homestay is in a great location, right off the main street, with lots of food options nearby. The backpacker room is large, spacious and clean and the beds are comfortable. Yun is an excellent host and dive coach, she took me on several dives during my stay and gave me lots of helpful advice to improve my neutral buoyancy. She also helped me to book my ferry ticket, a scooter, and tours on the island. I highly recommend diveholix to anyone wishing to visit Green Island.
