The location was the best part of this stay at Travelers Hostel. The neighborhood and boardwalk added much to the experience of staying in Tamsui. The rooms and bathrooms are set up as best they can for shared accommodations.

The rooms were so clean and seemed brand new, with a large balcony! The location is perfect, as it's a 10 minute walk to the main station, and also near so many great things to see in the neighborhood. The staff is so nice too!

I like how the owner waited for us to arrive at 5 AM in the morning so that we will be able to check-in manually. More so, I like how he showed us one by one the facilities and the rules in the Hostel.
It is also just minutes away from Ximending, convenience stores, banks and other. Such a great location for its price. He was also kind enough to give us discounts :)

This place is in an awesome location, close to everything. Just a few steps from the main tourist drag and waterfront. Lots of worthwhile attractions nearby. Hostel was nice and clean and having a big locker was nice. The roof area was a bonus. Great place to relax and take in the view of the mountain and harbor. Carrie was a helpful receptionist, and gave me lots of good local tips. Would definitely stay again.
Clean, modern and well designed, good amount of space, and located near the train station and food. (Tip: the Chinese chiropractor, not the massage parlour, just opposite, is very good).
Cheaper than staying in central Taipei but connected by mrt (about 45 mins).
Tamsui is a lovely place to be in - lovely coastal views (just 5 mins walk from the residence), great food options, much less crowded and noisy than central Taipei.

Great location in a little cute alley near the station and all other conveniences. The place is spacious, clean, the beds are super comfortable and super equipped. I absolutely recommend everyone and I will definitely come back. The hosts are so kind and the check in and door system is superb.
Room is clean, comfortable and spacious with a great view of the city and Tamsui River. It was a surprise that the breakfast buffet is included in the price which has a lot of varieties, really cheap for a nice hotel!
Incredible to wake up in the morning market , Staff helped me with breakfast options in the market . Great locations to get the sunset in the area and also see the hot springs just some stops away on the metro.
