I really feel like the owner of corner inn really cared about the inn. The inn was decorated well and gave a homely feeling to it. Throughout my time at the inn, I just could really feel the effort the owner took to maintain the inn at it's pristine condition.

The host was very friendly and helpful. The hostel is in the central, thus it was easy to move around, reach the touristic places, but it remained quiet during the night, so it was great for a good night sleep.

Was not expecting such a super hostel in a small, off the beaten track town. Steps from the train station, buses, and food. Staff were very friendly and helpful with information. Very spacious dorms and very clean place. Nice common area on the upper floor. Good base for exploring Jiufen and the coastal attractions like the geopark.

The accommodation is right next to the train station and is therefore perfectly located for excursions. The house is beautifully designed, it is a very special place. We were given lots of tips for things to do in the area and were pampered all round.

It’s the place to be. Opened a month ago (November 2024) it is a stunning place carefully decorated. Located in a beautiful hiking area along the national cycling route and just a few minutes away from Taiwans famous surfing beaches, it has a beautiful fishing harbour (get up early and watch the boats entering the harbor!). The owner and the chef came truly around the world and we had great nights at the cafe with local seafood, Italian pasta and a delicious tiramisu. This hostel is extremely well situated, in the heart of the old street, it’s very convenient and we can easily feel the experience of Jiufen by night and in the morning before the crowd. The female dormitory is big, there is a lot of space. beds are very comfortable and the hostel looks like a small house. Free tea and coffee, water machine. The person who welcomed me was nice and he speaks english. The price is convenient for students I thought in such a touristy place it would be much higher !
Very good for a hostel. Everything was clean, good amount of privacy, especially in the shared showers. Staff were friendly and had a conversational english level. Hotel located very conveniently just off the old street. Common area downstairs is very good for meeting new people as I did both of my nights and rooftop is great for morning or evening relaxing or photos.
- Great location- short walk to the main attraction street. However if you are travel from Rui Fang train station with luggage, it is best to take taxi as the hostel is located at the back of the mountain of Jiu Fen. The taxi will takes you straight to the main entrance.

Great Location, just at the Jiufen Street. I missed the sign so made a small detour to reach to hostel. Owner is very friendly and explained everything very well. Comfortable stay as expected.

Very welcoming owner, great location of the hostel, reasonable price and good little capsule to lay in. Rooftop views are awesome. Would be great to have a roof over the rooftop, so also in hot conditions it could be used as a common area.
