You're sleeping in a cave! Owner asked me about tours once and then no more pressure when I can across as not interested. Kitchen and upstairs terrace was excellent. They have a family of cats.

Breakfasts were amazing and on a terrace with views. The family that runs the hotel is very nice and friendly. The pool provides a nice cooling break after a hike. The cats and dog that run the place are the best and friendliest companions. The hotel is an oasis but right in the middle of the bustling Goreme center.

Great location and service for the price we paid. Ortahisar is a quiet place that is well-connected to other cities in Capadokia. The hotel room offered all the necessities we needed for a comfortable stay. We had a lovely breakfast each morning. Highly recommended.

The hotel is run by a family. The host was friendly and hospitable. I would highly recommend staying at this place for budget travellers. She helped us with arranging a rental car and ballon experience at a best price that we couldnt find in any online platform. In total, i had a comfortable stay and highly recommend it.

Maybe my favourite accommodation I've ever stayed in! Perfect view, incredible breakfast at flexible times, and the town is beautiful, but not as busy as Göreme so it's a lot calmer and nicer. And that's before the accommodation is attached to a medieval cave church. Rooms are really comfortable, and split between two it was actually cheaper than the youth hostel I stayed in on my own afterwards. Aydin is just the best, so helpful, a shoutout to Osman the cat too 🙏
