Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.
Great location, lovely deck area, restaurant food was delicious, morning coffee included with breakfast was great, staff were fantastic, bed was really comfortable.
Great location and easy walk to most of town and even ferry terminal. Room and bathroom spacious and much needed A/C worked well. Private balcony was nice to relax and have a coffee. Great shared outdoor area for guests to socialize and hang out.
The location of the backpackers is smack in the middle of town. The staff was incredibly responsive. They organised a taxi for us, and were very helpful.
Allowed late check in as the flight was after midnight. Helped to arrange pick up from airport. Friendly and very considerate staff. Room was very comfortable and almost sound proof. Slept like a baby. Thank you for the very pleasant and comfortable stay.
Village Backpackers was clean, affordable and in a great location in the centre of town. It was walking distance to the wharf and most cafes. The shared bathrooms were always kept clean. What made our stay was the staff, they were kind and helpful and went out of their way to help us arrange a last minute ride to the airport. They also had all the information for things to do around the island.
Great location! Definitely good value for money! Totally exceeded my expectation for a backpacker. Manager here is very warm and helpful :)
Good facilities, bed is comfy, bathrooms are clean and shower is lovely. Also got a lovely ceiling fan in the room that works great!
