I had a wonderful stay at Phatra Hostel in Koh Phangan. There is a lot of good to say about this place, starting with the staff. They are truly great people, some of the nicest and most welcoming people you’ll come across. They are incredibly helpful and always available for a chat, making you feel at home right away. The atmosphere at Phatra Hostel is also worth mentioning. It has a warm, friendly vibe.
The room I stayed in was of good size, neat, and well-maintained. It was kept clean throughout my stay and the same goes for the bathroom, which was spotless and fully functional.
Location-wise, it’s very convenient, quite central for most activities with easy access to nearby shops and restaurants.
Overall, I highly recommend Phatra Hostel to anyone visiting Koh Phangan. It’s an excellent value for money and the hospitality is unmatched. I’ll definitely be returning next time I’m on the island!

I found what I was looking for. Family run hostel, where I could telework. They have a machine with good coffee in the morning. Several relaxation areas. The showers are clean and European style and the beds have everything. I think it is one of the best hostels on my trip in Asia.
A good cheap, clean and comfortable hostel. I had a late check in and the owners were super friendly and fast in responding to messages. The shared bedroom was clean and cozy, i had a good sleep. The neighborhood is quite. For that little money i can really recommend it. They also take care of a stray cat 🐈 so it's nice to always leave the front door a tiny bit open (they do have CCTV at the entrance) and donate some cat food / tuna - Som loves cuddles 🥰🧡
It is the best hostel I have stayed in during my three month trip in Asia. The toilets are European style, modern and clean. The bunk beds are big and have all the details to spend a long stay as I did. It has a coworking space and a cafeteria. It is in the centre of the island and close to the port but in an area surrounded by nature so you can sleep very well without noise. The service was excellent. I will be back.

Really friendly staff who made me feel right at home. Paid a higher rate due to full moon party but honestly the hostel was very nice and I'd happily stay there any time in Koh Phangan. Convenient cheap laundry place on the corner. Great location.
