After staying already in two different Hostels in Ko Samet I felt sorry for not moving to Cocoon earlier. I was very postively surprised by the first overall impression. I instantly felt a genuine atmosphere with hospitality. Good vibes. The Hostel had just opened and everything was new and set up for comfort. The owners (Nick and May) gave me a well and warmly welcome. I felt home instantly. Spacious and clean shower facilities and separated toilets. Enough space in the cozy lobby for socializing, watching the people passing by on the main street. An enjoyable extra were free coffee, tea and cereals all day. I really didn´t like to leave. But on a future trip to Ko Samet I will be staying at COCOON. Thank you Nick and May and all the best to you and the Cocoon.

Cosy little place with only 8 beds in total! A nice balcony to hang out on (bring bug spray) and really cosy rooms with en suite bathroom and shower. A bit cramped and rough but clean and nice. It's a real chill vibe, and the lady who owns it is super sweet, helpful and accommodating! She cleans the room everyday and makes your bed, learns your name and asks you how you are doing. A real host! It's about a 8 min walk to the closest beach, 5 minutes to the closest 7/11 and lots of stuff in between. Close to locals which gives a nice perspective on locals day to day life.

The host was really nice and helpful. He does everything so that you have a nice stay. The hostel is small, so it’s easy to connect with other backpackers, even though on the island are more couples and family’s. I had a really nice time and would always come back. It’s nice that you have some private space in the cabins.

Location is brilliant and the staff are so so lovely! We stayed in a budget room so was nothing crazy, however still so cheap! Some of the newer rooms looked beautiful:)
I loved the location and beautiful setting. As a solo female traveller I felt safe. The room although called budget was anything but - it was clean, cosy and comfortable. The staff was super friendly and the food was excellent.

The design of the beds was really cool too, had enough privacy and less disruption than you would normally get with bunk beds in hostels.
the owner is so nice!! very helpful and always so polite and caring. The room is comfortable :) bed sheets and bathroom ,shower, always clean! and they do make your bed everyday which is nice for a hostel. Great location!
This is a little gem of a hostile. Definitely a wonderful low budget hostel with warm and friendly vibe. Comfortable sleeping pods that give you a privet space in a mixed dorm. Wonderful hosts Goth and Holly were always helpful and great to hang out with. Thanks for the advice on places to snorkel and lending me your snorkels. Also bamboo is a charming little dog. I can't wait to visit again 😁
