Everything was just fine! It is a modest & wonderful hustle! some of the dorm rooms have a balcony, which is nice :)
good wifi, a light brakefast served every morning, cute cats!!
The owner, Preeya, is very helpful, kind and friendly! She takes good care of the hustle & the guests. She booked a bicycle for me in an instant. Her knowledge of the island and the greater area makes for great recommendations for tours, kayaking, restaurants & other activities, and transportation info!!
Sabai reggae bar & No.22 coffee are great spots that are close by the hustle :) 7/11 is 2 min walk away.
there is an evening food market at Manoh pier, just 2.5 km from the hustle, 5 min with a scooter :)

Budget travelers know there's no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: Save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a little more.
The accomodation was
Great, comfortable , wooden bungalow with comfy bed and air conditioning . Great location , cheap bike hire and super friendly helpful staff. A family run business
Connexion was the best hostel we've ever visited and the owner Preeya was the most amazing host ever! It's located in the best spot in the island near all the best local restaurants and markets. Preeya helped us with everything you can imagine from booking us tours, giving tips and renting mopeds. Everything worked out smoothly and we had the most wonderful week on the island because of Preeya and Connexion. Would recommend for everyone!
This was the best hostel we stayed at in Asia. The room was roomy, the bathroom clean, the breakfast delicious, but most important was that the people were just heartwarming, open minded and caring. I got sick and Pria looked after me and got me electrolyte and medicine, which was helping me so much. Thank you again!
Also the organisation of boat trips, scooter or transportation was so easy. I would always come back to this place!
THE BEST HOSTEL! Booked one night and ended up staying for week! This place is like home, Preeya the owner is the kindest soul you’ll ever meet🫶🏽 she will do anything to make sure you have a happy stay, she looked after me when I was sick and made me smile when I was better. Book your stay!! Show this hard working small business owner some love😇
It's a really clean and peaceful place to stay and close to a good restaurant. The kindness of Preeya. She's really attentive. Really good advice for activities, things to do, and for everything else. she cooks a really awesome breakfast every day for you. One of the best hostels where I stayed in Thailand.
Lovely little bungalows, very quiet and great location. Beautiful beach out the front. Gets hot at night but is good budget accomodation and the island hopping trip booked through them was also fabulous. Loved the little hammock out the front.
Such a lovely little bungalow! Great location, En and his friend Neil were amazing! Hired 2 scooters from the accommodation to get around the island which were cheap and really easy! Would love to come back and see you again soon, but no more shots :)!
“Adios Mother******”
Lovely host who will help with scooter rental, ferries and even brought me to the pier upon departure. Breakfast basic but good with toast, jam, tea, coffee, various fruit and eggs. Good location in the small city center, very close to a 7-11. Good water pressure in the shower. Very social hostel, easy to meet new people.
Lok Mun is an exceptional place. I really felt at home there. It was a wonderful time to replenish, relax and take a break from hopping from one hostel to another on a backpacker's schedule. At Lok Mun they do a herbal sauna, cooking classes and they serve delicious, home-made food. The owners are very helpful and sweet. The bungalow was very clean, spacious and comfortable. Highly recommended!
