Hatyai is like my hometown. I have visited Hatyai many times and stayed in several hotels. There are hotels that I only went to once because the experience was not really good. But, Shiro-i Poshtel offered all I wanted for a short stay.
I like the friendliness of the staff during the entrance. I love how she treats me nicely with good gestures. I felt welcome.
The room exceeded my expectations. Spacious and comfortable room with a big bed. The bathroom also spacious and clean. The sleeping area is separated from the living area. They provide smart TV with Netflix. The bonus point of it.
The room also has a balcony facing the street and garden. Very quiet at night. I like the vibe. I like how I can sit at the balcony with my partner overlooking the street, drink coffee and chitchat. Calm & peaceful.
Ohh, the hotel has their own laundry next to the hotel, so it is convenient. The 7-Eleven is only about 200m from the hotel. The location is walking distance to the famous Gimyong Market. 10 minutes walk.
The hotel does not have an elevator, but it is not an issue for me. The staff also helped me to lift the bag up even though I didn't asked to.
Shiro-i Poshtel will be one of my preferred hotels if I visit Hatyai again. I will repeat, definitely.

Clean, spacious, minimal hostel. Stayed in private room with external private room, on 4th floor (but you walk up 5 floors) with no window. Friendly staff. This hostel is at one of the best location to stay, next to Kim Yong Market. But surprisingly quiet even it’s on the main road. Easy to walk anywhere for best food & get car/blue pickup van to/back airport and anywhere. Feel safe here as a solo female traveller.
Well designed, the bunk beds have privacy curtains which is nice. The staff are lovely and the whole place is clean and well equipped. It's in a great location with lots of delicious street food close by, if you're in Hat Yai and you need somewhere affordable, I can definitely recommend it!
I like the location is nearby to every prime spots for tourists to visit. The convenience stores just walking distance which a plus. Easy to get HALAL ready-to-eat food at 7eleven. The staffs are very friendly, helpful and kind. Suitable for backpackers solo and groups. Great place to meet new people from other parts of the world. And I love your coffee where you prepared it manually via its own tools,like those in the days. Not the automatic machine and the taste are great. Definitely will choose this place again for my next visit!
This was the best dormitory hostel I ever stayed. I traveled a lot in southeast Asia but definitely the best one in terms of comfort, cleanliness, common areas very clean and organize well maintained. Location at the center of hatyai. Just walking distance to hatyai train station.
Comfortable and clean bedrooms. Accessible to restaurants and shopping mall. Very near to bus station, parking is infront of the hostel, ok for people have car. Perfect for solo travelers and backpackers. Price is worth it!
